Someone or something is always trying to 'sell you'; it could be a product, a program, a philosophy, a religion, a story or an image, but they can't sell you anything if you're not paying attention, so their priority is to get your attention at all costs. Their mission is to make you look. And keep looking. Or listening. To make you stay. To get you engaged. No matter what. To make you believe you need whatever it is they're selling. To hijack your mind.
