Dr. Elaine Aron is a psychologist and world-renowned author who is best known for her research and writing on the topic of ‘high sensitivity’ or ‘sensory-processing sensitivity’ (SPS). She has written numerous books on the subject, including "The Highly Sensitive Person" (an award-winning and ground-breaking book, which opened the door for an avalanche of follow-up research world-wide), "The Highly Sensitive Child" and her latest offering “The Highly Sensitive Parent: Be Brilliant in Your Role, Even When the World Overwhelms You”. Dr. Elaine was both brilliant and (for me), slightly terrifying as she saw through my BS in the first ten minutes and proceeded to profile me to the world. I would have liked to argue with the 78 year-old Professor who’s fifteen times smarter than me, but (1) that was just my ego and fear and (2) it would have only proven her point. So, I bit my bottom lip and she told me all about Craig Harper with annoying accuracy (but also love and empathy). I love her. I hope you do to.
