1986 - Boxer Mike Tyson becomes heavyweight champion of the world and Red's university dissertation on Muhammad Ali
1995 - Michael Jackson releases "Earth Song" and The Rednex hit single "Cotton Eyed Joe" are released
1977 - Roy Sullivan is struck by lightning for the 7th time, and the Wow signal is picked up indicating there may be aliens living in the universe sending us messages.
