The Stanly Parable devs are disappointed with achievement hunters, who have changed the console date and time to unlock the Super Go Outside achievement. Xbox Live going down was a massive story last week, but now the engineers behind it have spoken out and have cleared up what really went wrong. Lee thinks this was a bug which wasn't supposed to roll out, while Kyle still blames Fortnite coming to XCloud. EA Sports is dropping FIFA and becoming EA Sports FC, and FIFA is not bitter at all. Like they are totally cool with it. So cool, in fact, that they put out a statement saying FIFA is THE BEST football experiance. This breakup was completely FIFA's idea, and they are the ones that dropped EA. They just want to let you know that. Kyle has been way to social and only managed to play Halo Infinite Multiplayer - and he's figured out how to activate his Season 2 pass! Even better. But has he found a bug with the Double XP Boost? When you stop drinking tea, does the Queen unfriend you? Asking for a friend... April is finally over! And boy did we play a lot of trash. So much trash. Lee played almost every baby game known to man. But we know someone who played even more baby games than we ever thought existed! The winners this month... *drum roll please* Neomaster with 157,875 GS in one month wins the Touch Some Grass Award for the most gamerscore in one month. Out of The XboxCast, Lee wins with 29,477 GS! His personal best! Diabolic Jester wins the Have You Thought About Staying Inside? award for the most steps! He got 408,432 steps in the month of April. Kyle beat the other two slackers with 305,466 steps! Neomaster popped 2,425 achievements and takes home the Addicted To The Pop award! With 266 chevos popped this month, Lee beat the other two. You're welcome to write a letter of complaint to us. We may even reply... While the news has gotten noticeably quiet in prep for June, it doesn't stop us from spending an hour ranting about things. The game play charts are not super exciting, Kyle is super close to buying Overwatch, and will Tiny Tina Wonderlands come to Game Pass? Xbox is having a sale, and we think we've cracked the code for when these things happen. Is Simone right? Do these sales happen on the second month of the season? We'd love to know so we can put it in our calendar! And in the constant search for content, we go through some of the more interesting deals. Unreal Engine 5 has dropped and looks amazing, but we're a bit dubious of there being only 2 game engines in the world. Hopefully it doesn't come down to Unity VS Unreal... We'd be missing out on so many cool and interesting looks in games. But we can't argue with how amazing UE5 is. Microsoft has been accused of paying for chip priority. Also known as business common sense. And it's working! Xbox is sitting as the top selling console for the past few months! Often outpacing the competition by a very healthy margin. Is it too early to say that Xbox is back to the glory days of the 360 - hardware wise at least. We're still knee deep in the April Achievement Challenge and would love you to join us. In a totally expected move, Halo Infinite and Forza Horizon 5 has stormed onto the top two spots! Finally, we have something new to say about the charts. Lee does not like Gang Beasts, but you'll have to listen to the next #GameFace! to find out why... FIFA 22 and FIFA 22 are in the charts. No idea which one is which, but it's a very sneaky move by EA. Achievements are back as a talking point. Seems everyone is hanging out for the Achievement 2.0 upgrade which Microsoft has rumbled about for years. Do you think it will ever come? Who knows at this stage. Amazon is rumored to make a Mass Effect series and Kyle doesn't believe this will be any good. Much hand wringing occurs, although Lee is pretty confident it could be interesting at least. Talk about a role reversal! Serious Sam 4 gets shadow dropped on Game Pass, which reminds us that games have come out for Game Pass. In fact, all the games have come out for Game Pass. At this stage, if you finish all the games on Game Pass, you get a medal. And with the news that the Xbox Series S being the top selling console for Black Friday, it seems the world is waking up to the value of Series S + Game Pass. How does the last New & Noteworthy Games land for this year? We start off strong, have a Halo rant, look at some interestng looking games, and then end with a bit of a wet blanket. As chaotic as things get, we're here to sort it all out. Well maybe not. Brackets Windows enters the Gaming Charts under the guise of Age of Empires. But doesn't hold much other excitement apart from the fact that Cities: Skylines is a city builder. Kyle has found one of you has played Fallout 76 for over 8,000 hours. Do you need someone to talk to? We're here to help... We're still chatting about The Witcher and even celebrating the first games 14th birthday. Did you know Geralt can't jump in the first game? Microsoft release their earnings for the past 3 months and it's quite a reasonable jump. Hardware sales are up 166%! Not too shabby for a console thats not available and apparently has no games. LG have decided to lock their latest features behind the bigger sizes, and we don't see this working out for them at all. Now Lee's TV tells him how long he's been playing for. That's only slightly annoying... For new games, Unpacked ticks Kyle's box while Call of Duty confuses us all. Why is it coming out now? When can we get Halo? If you have the Ultimate Edition - you can even jump into Forza Horizon 5! But we doubt this is news to you. You're probably already playing. In which case, tell us how it is! For a brief period of time, we had a shimmer of hope... And then, nothing. Back4Blood has come for Call of Duty as it takes the top spot on the charts! Things have changed and the top game has been dethroned. We truly are living in some exciting times. Dragon Age 4 is only coming to next-gen systems, and not on Xbox One. How will this change the game, and will it even ever come out? We ask you because we don't know. Kyle tests Dolby Vision an gives a brief review and ends up turning it off. #Witcherween has begun! And we have a very special reveal on our YouTube! You may want to check it out. No Man's Sky continues to absorb Kyle and Simone's life. It runs beautifully on the Series X and is on Game Pass. You have no excuse now. Simone found a broken ship and the way you fix it is really ingenious. It got Lee excited enough to jump back in. Sometimes you have to throw ferrets at things to get it working. Lee tries out Splitgate and finds it just OK. But then he tries out the Halo Infinite Beta and also just finds it OK. The game play charts make us depressed as nothing chances, but No Man's Sky pops in again, joining NBA2K22. Seems a bit cheeky to have the same game in the list twice... EB Games has no Aqua Shift Controllers anymore, meaning Lee can't get a new controller. Apparently deliveries have stopped. Just stopped. Lee cleans up pretty well. You'll just have to believe us. And Simone responds by trying to burn the house down. So many games were played this week, we almost needed a spreadsheet. Almost, but not quite. There's a fridge that demands some attention and kills people when you stop looking at it. It's a bit extra, but don't tell the fridge. It might freak out and kill us all. Luckily Simone is here to save us. After a good ole assassination, nothing goes down quite as well as lighting up your pipe and having a relaxing smoke. You are in Paris after all, so it's just what's done. Assassin's Creed's story confuses us to say the least. In some exciting news, Kyle and Simone start No Man's Sky and battle to get multiplayer working. The caveat is that they're playing on PermaDeath mode...
