Imagine a combination of The Bachelor and The Hunger Games, but then throw that combination in the trash and read a J. Crew catalog instead, and that’s The Selection. The worldbuilding and characters make no sense, and yet somehow…we loved it even more than Prince Maxon of Illea loves America Singer?
