Show Notes
This week we talk about The B1M's latest video; "Abu Dhabi Has Built the World’s LARGEST Aquarium" - Sea World Abu Dhabi is due to open in 2023 and is being constructed on Yas Island. Yep... another UAE world record! Also in the show we chat about the latest Tomorrow's Build video that highlights a Swedish consortium – including a firm called SSAB – that has developed a form of fossil-free steel at a factory in Lulea, Sweden, under an initiative called HYBRIT (Hydrogen Breakthrough Ironmaking Technology). This a HUGE deal for the construction industry, and the world.
Later, we look at other news in the industry and discuss France's plan to cover car parks with solar panels. Also, there's news from Texas that a green land bridge is about to reunite the north and south sides of Houston's Memorial Park. AND there's a six-storey office building that's set to become one of the largest timber structures in London, designed by Foster + Partners. Lastly, we read out some of YOUR Apple Podcast reviews.
