High above the woods of eastern Louisville stands the Pope Lick Trestle, an active railway bridge with a terrifying reputation. For decades, locals have whispered about the Pope Lick Monster - a half-man, half-goat creature said to hypnotize trespassers and lure them to their deaths. The site has claimed numerous lives, each one tangled in the legend’s long shadow. In this episode, we explore the chilling folklore, its origins, and the tragic fatalities that gave an urban myth a body count.
