Advent Series, Luke chapter 2: In chapter 2 Luke takes us from Jesus’ birth to 12 years old. We learn a little about Simeon and Anna, who recognize the Babe as our Lord and Savior.
Questions to think about: - Do you spend quiet time everyday with God?
-Are you expecting to see God working in your life? -What things might you have missed in your life if you weren’t looking for Gods blessings?
-Can you think of a time when an answer to a prayer or a blessing was right in front of you, but you missed it because your heart wasn’t prepared?
Encouragement: Advent is a time to prepare our hearts to celebrate the coming of the Lord. Use the next few weeks leading up to Christmas to commit to spending some quiet time each day in prayer, reading the Bible, journaling or meditating on Gods word (pick a verse and just sit quietly and think about it). See how this helps prepare your heart to see God working in your life.
