In this episode Sam shares why self help can sometimes lead us astray if we aren’t careful and encourages her listeners to lean into something much better and much more effective, God help.

In todays episode Sam talks about Jeremiah who from the worlds perspective wouldn’t be looked at as successful, but to God, might have been one of the most successful guys in the book! It was a great reminder to think about, are we striving for the worlds reward, or for Heavens reward?

In episode 54 Sam talks about unreasonable love and why it’s important that as followers of a very unreasonable God that we also become unreasonable despite what the crowd thinks.

In a special Good Friday Message, Sam shares a message about confident receiving. Thank you to the women of Cabot United Methodist Church for asking me to speak at todays breakfast, it was truly a joy for me to get to be a part of the morning.

Episode 51: Sam shares some of her best tips for time management and boundary setting that have helped her grow her business, be present for her kids, spend at least a little extra time with her husband and serve God all while keeping her peace (at least most of the time!).

In this episode 50, Sam dives into the Bible about what it means to bear good fruit and encourages her listeners to share their fruits with others. After all, you’ve never seen an apple tree eating it’s own apples, have you?

In Episode 49 Sam talks about how important prayer is and how important it is to take faithful action on your prayers to steward your gifts in God glorifying ways. Simply put, if you want want more, you need to steward what you have well.

In this episode, Sam shares a presentation that she shared over the weekend at a woman’s conference (This is Us, Women on the Rock! at Natrona Heights Presbyterian Church) regarding her own personal experience in how God called her to exchange her heart of stone for a heart of flesh to draw her closer to Him during a time in her life that she needed Him most.

In this episode Sam shares that stepping into what God is calling you to do, even when it might not be what you want to do, is setting your heart up for passion and purpose.

Happy New Year! As we set goals and venture into a new year, I want you to remember that the calls in your heart aren’t only for you. I hope this episode helps give you the confidence to start taking action when God calls you to both big and small things!

Episode 45, Shaming people in Gods name is wrong. There I said it. In this episode Sam talks about how ‘religious folk’ so often get it wrong. You know, that command about loving others as Jesus loved us? The holiday season is a perfect time to display the love of Jesus to our loved ones, but too many times, we screw it up. It’s so very important that we start getting it right.

Not sure what Gods purpose for your life is? Start with your hardest times. In Episode 44 Sam encourages her listeners to explore that purpose often comes from some of the most difficult parts of their lives. Being a great leader often comes from having a bad one, becoming an encouragement to others often comes from a discouraging situation, compassion for others often comes from experiencing something similar. By reflecting on some of the less desirable parts of our lives, we just might find how God wants to use us.

In this episode Sam talks about how Gods plans for us can impact generations and span further than we may ever know. She encourages her listeners to take time to be grateful for this whose imprint has impacted them and also to take action on their own path in order to leave that kind of God ordained impact on others.

Ever just been in a rut? In Episode 42 Sam shares some ways that have helped her when she falls into those too busy, overwhelmed, loss of enthusiasm times.

In Episode 41 Sam talks about the importance of having the right tools for your journey. Would you go on a road trip without your gps? Probably not. And would you ask just anyone to ride shot gun? I don’t think so. As we run the race of life (or drive it in this analogy) how we get there really does matter.

Some Monday morning encouragement that is enough to get you through any day of the week!

In part 3 of the boundaries series, Sam talks about personal boundaries and gives some tips on how to determine whether to say yes or no as well as the regular reminder that God is with you wherever you go (and he’s also with you wherever you don’t go).

Part of if the boundaries series, Sam shares some ways to help you set boundaries around your time and budget within your business. Hear why knowing your goals, becoming selfish with your time and learning to say no are so important to being able to serve Gods purpose in your life and business.

In Episode 31 Sam encourages her listeners to start using the gifts that God has given them so that they can move closer to their Devine purpose. Most of us are playing small and playing small just isn’t what God made us for.

In Episode 13; Goal Setting for High Achievers, we discussed goal setting. Today, almost 6 months later, it’s time for a goal check in! Where are we? Are we remembering our why? What has been working? What do we need to adjust? What has changed? I hope this practice is as energizing for you as it was for me!

This week I interviewed my kids to get some perspective from their views. I could not have been prepared for some of these answers! Also, the accuracy of some of these stories may be a bit off (as told my an 8 year old) so I encourage you to look them up! Enjoy this fun and lighthearted episode!

Last week we talked about self worth and the realization that we are chosen. But what next? Just because we are chosen doesn’t mean things will just magically happen for our success, we’ve got to take action to become who God chose us to be!

Self worth is a tricky topic, but I think I’ve got a way to help you remember exactly how valuable you are. Listen in as I talk about self worth and how God reminded me recently where self worth needs to come from and an idea of how to keep it top if mind.

Parents, ever feel like you’re being judged by other parents? Us too! Listen in to Episode 26 as my favorite guest and person, Rob Bauer, joins me to talk about some of our experiences in parenthood from Rob being a stay at home dad to me being a mompreneur…and how others have responded to some of our choices...and how we’ve had to learn to let it roll off our shoulders. In episode 17 Sam talks about how God has been reminding her to trust in His timing, even in the small stuff. Ever have one of those weeks where nothing goes your way? Only to catch yourself out of whack, edgy and anxious? That was me last week. Here's what I think God wanted me to get out of it.

In this episode, Sam talks about entrepreneurship and why trying to short cut or force your way to success isn't the best recipe. We serve a God who is patient with US, we just need to enjoy the journey and learn and be moldable while working hard and He will provide the right people, resources and success we are longing for when WE are ready. Trying to push things to happen on your time can lead to frustration, loss of hope or even quitting before you reach your purpose. Hang in there, follow your plan and know that we serve a God who is working together all things for our good...in HIS perfect timing.

In Episode 15 Sam talks about success and why praying for the win doesn't always work. Committing our plans to the Lord is not the same as committing our success to the Lord. We can't just wish for something and pray for it to happen, we need to start with God, prayerfully move into action and then allow for God to reward us in His timing...not ours. It's not always easy, but it is well worth it.

One of my favorite things to do is set goals and create action plans to achieve them so in this episode I speak to how to set goals as well as how to set your plans to go get them! As we look forward to 2022, it's important to do some reflecting on the prior year (or 2-3 in my case) on what we've learned, who we are becoming and make sure we are continuing to lean into God's plans for us. In episode 12 I share a little about what I've learned, what my journey has looked like and how 2021 was a year of self reflection and growth and how I started to really tap into who I am today and who I am becoming. As we enter into 2022, let's do it with much excitement, hope and enthusiasm to continue to pursue the plans that God has for us.

In this episode, Sam digs a little deeper into self doubt and gives some tips and tricks for overcoming some of the lies that we believe. Sam makes some comparisons to some examples of shepherds who despite what the world thought of them, went on to do some pretty outstanding things when they decided to believe who God was calling them to be and follow their hearts.

In episode 10 Sam talks with her friend Shannon Koch about self doubt, unbelief and the big one...imposter syndrome. Spoiler alert, all of those things are LIES! So, how do we recognize the lies and how do we overcome them so that we can move forward and life the life that God has planned for us?
