You know, that command about loving others as Jesus loved us? The holiday season is a perfect time to display the love of Jesus to our loved ones, but too many times, we screw it up. It’s so very important that we start getting it right.

In Episode 44 Sam encourages her listeners to explore that purpose often comes from some of the most difficult parts of their lives. Being a great leader often comes from having a bad one, becoming an encouragement to others often comes from a discouraging situation, compassion for others often comes from experiencing something similar. By reflecting on some of the less desirable parts of our lives, we just might find how God wants to use us.

In Episode 15 Sam talks about success and why praying for the win doesn't always work. Committing our plans to the Lord is not the same as committing our success to the Lord. We can't just wish for something and pray for it to happen, we need to start with God, prayerfully move into action and then allow for God to reward us in His timing...not ours. It's not always easy, but it is well worth it.
