Bruriyah’s life was turned upside down when she found out her son had autism. At the time there was no obvious explanation, and the medical system just kept saying follow the v@cc*ne schedule. It would be years later when Bruriyah would discover THE link to her sons diagnosis. Later in Bruriyah’s life, she shares her own physical experience of yet another FDA approved product that would lead to her own sickness. There’s no holding back in this episode, Bruriyah and I discuss the hard questions that each of us must be asking about the heath system that is supposed to care about each of us.

While Bruriyah’s story is uniquely hers, millions upon millions of other people are suffering in silence with a similar story. Bruriyah De Leon impeccably holds space for others as an empathic and highly sensitive leader. Her focus of care comes as a result of her own immense traumas and transformation in her own life.

Bruriyah attributes her growth and healing to her Autistic son and often refers to him as her compass for healing.

She is particularly passionate about helping women heal their trauma with special interest in early childhood developmental trauma and its relationship to toxic shame and personality organization.
