March 20, 2026, 7pm: Republicans are forcing senators to work through the weekend to push Donald Trump’s voter suppression bill, as the fight over DHS funding continues. Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) joins The Weeknight to break down what’s at stake. And, Trump is escalating his campaign against Fed Chair Jerome Powell, continuing to push a criminal investigation into Powell’s testimony about Federal Reserve renovations. That move comes even after a federal judge effectively shut it down, calling the subpoenas a pretext to pressure the Fed to cut interest rates. The latest escalation raises new concerns about political interference with the central bank.
