September 28, 2025; 9am: Yesterday on Truth Social, President Trump announced he is ordering Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth to deploy troops to Portland, Oregon. Trump revealed he would authorize “Full Force, if necessary” and insisted the troops would “protect War ravaged Portland.” Representative Janelle Bynum of Oregon, whose district includes parts of Portland, joins “The Weekend” to discuss.
