November 29 2025 7AM;The State Department paused all asylum decisions and stopped issuing visas to people from Afghanistan. The decisions comes after President Trump threatened to "permanently pause" immigration from some countries and remove millions of immigrants by revoking their legal status in the wake of Wednesday's tragedy.
