Show Notes
December 6, 2025; 8am: A federal grand jury dealt the DOJ a rare defeat this week when it failed to reindict New York Attorney General Letitia James. But a source tells MS NOW that the Justice Department could try to bring criminal charges of alleged mortgage fraud against James for a THIRD time. Plus, the DOJ is considering charging former FBI Director James Comey two weeks after the initial case was thrown out on the basis that Trump’s interim US Attorney Lindsey Halligan was unlawfully appointed. Liz Oyer, former DOJ Pardon Attorney and Federal Public Defender, and Brendan Ballou, former Federal Prosecutor and former Lawyer with the DOJ National Security Division, join “The Weekend” to discuss.
