Ozempic, and drugs like it, have been all the rage lately. Besides people with type 2 diabetes, we’ve also seen a lot of celebrities talking about it and using it to lose weight. What is it? Why are so many people using it? And, more importantly, is it safe? Jason Zupec, PharmD, BCACP, is a clinical associate professor in the department of pharmacy practice at Saint Joseph's University. He talks us through what these drugs do and what they could mean for the future of weight loss medication.
