Can your employer ban you from taking public transportation during COVID-19?
The trading floor of the New York Stock Exchange has been closed for a couple of months as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, but it's set to partially reopen on Tuesday, May 26. As the Exchange opens its doors again, there are protocols that brokers need to follow -- and one of the protocols that stuck out to us is that people are not allowed to use public transportation to get to the trading floor. This begged a bunch of questions, like... can they do that? Is that even legal? And how is it going to be enforced?
