Have you ever felt like life is just one long to-do list? Wake up, go to work, pay the bills, cook dinner, collapse into bed, and then do it all again tomorrow? Sometimes it feels like we’re only surviving — just getting through the week. But the Bible reminds us that God created us for more than survival.

In John 10:10, Jesus says, “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” That means a life of meaning, not just making it through. And in Ephesians 2:10 we’re told, “We are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” You are God’s masterpiece, designed with purpose.

Survival mode is about drifting through the days. Living with purpose is about waking up and asking, “Lord, what have You got for me today?” Sometimes that’s not a big, dramatic mission. It could be as simple as encouraging a friend, showing kindness at work, or choosing to trust God when life feels ordinary.

This episode unpacks three signs you might be living in survival mode — running on empty, losing your sense of “why,” or feeling like you’re drifting. But it also gives three steps to shift toward purpose: start your mornings with prayer, look for small opportunities to serve, and remember your life is part of God’s bigger story.

This week, don’t just survive. Ask God to show you one thing you can do each day that matters for Him because you were made for fullness, joy, and eternal purpose.
