Matt Hamilton was raised in a small farming and ranching community and he was able to see a couple things pretty early the manipulation of the agriculture industry from big money and he also learned the power of sales.
He spent many years in a variety of sales jobs that helped him develop some of the skills needed to be a small business owner.
Matt saw an opportunity and was bold enough to take the risk to open his own business supplying meat to the local community.
This business evolved into multiple businesses all based around local food and ingredients.
Another interesting factor in that Matt used to grow his businesses is social media marketing. He’s used it to not only grow his brands but also drive revenue to his business.
This is a very insightful episode about the food industry and also running and building a business.
