She is a NY Youth Poet Laureate, and her performances have taken place at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, in Guyana for One Billion Rising, and most famously at New York City mayor Bill de Blasio's inauguration. She has been featured in The Source and recently received a mention on Ebro in the Morning.
