Cobra Resources has a rare earths project in Australia that looks likely to be of a high enough quality and cheap enough to operate to challenge the Chinese stranglehold on the market. What's more, the proposed method of production is in-situ leach, which means no actual earth moving will occur, and the environmental footprint will be correspondingly small.
