Reading Numbers 32 for Friday, August 18th. Some people wanted their land inheritance on the side of the Jordan that they already were on, instead of crossing the Jordan first to get land. This did not make God happy, but since they promised to go into battle before receiving their inheritance, it was allowed, after a warning.
