This morning I read Job 9:
Job understands that what his friend said is truthful, but explains that since God is allowing his suffering, there is nothing he can say, there is no higher court he can appeal to for justice, since God is the ultimate authority, Job has no standing to accuse God of any wrongdoing, no standing to declare his own innocence before a perfect God.
