We discuss the management of our own hearts (old tricky), our multi-generational households, our businesses and organizations, local/faithful churches, and communities. That's a progression: inside out, small to large. With the King's help, we will do valiantly. TheViceroyProject.com works to network, train, and inspire men to extend their influence and increase the blast-radius of their lives so they can have epic funerals. Catholics, Protestants, Reformed, Charismatics - we aren't particular: a believing allegiance to Christ as King is all that's necessary to bring good order to chaos. That's our business and business is good.

Even if I really wanted to shoot cats, like if I had a great reason - I couldn't. Governing a house and raising multi-generational, thriving families means we have to think asymmetrically and stay innovative. We have to problem solve and never assume the conventional, well-trodden pathways are the correct route. Sometimes - we run up against well-entrenched barriers and immovable barricades. That's just part of it, guy. We have to work within boundaries, but hack our way through just the same.

The difficulty seems to hinge on how these two forces seem to move or fail to move in a coordinate motion. When it works - it works. When it fails - it really fails. Frustration is the most common result.IF, however ....and this is a big IF...you can get a nice fire tornado moving, then brother - it can really warm up the place. Many guys are surprised to discover that a HUSBAND needs to be the prime-mover in this dynamic. Initiating emotional connection/intimacy is the first motion that might just get something moving in the right direction. Men need to govern the spin - the spin of the Fire Tornado.
