In this Research Refresh, we dig into human-based studies to explore whether applying kinesiology tape from origin to insertion (or vice versa) truly facilitates or inhibits muscle function. We challenge long-held teachings about anchors, recoil, and muscle activation, and ask the big question: if the evidence in people is unclear, can we confidently apply the same assumptions to dogs and horses?
