Central Vermont follows closely at 36 degrees with mostly sunny conditions. Northeast Vermont hits 35 degrees, though you might see a stray snow shower dust the ground between noon and 3 P.M. Tonight, clouds increase ahead of our warm front. Lows hold in the mid-20s to around 30 degrees — noticeably milder than the deep freeze we just had. Saturday brings the warmest day we've seen in over a month. Southern Vermont hits 40 degrees. Central Vermont pushes 42. Northeast Vermont could reach a whopping 46 degrees. Enjoy it. Sunday night, temperatures plummet to minus 5 in southern Vermont, minus 4 in central areas. and minus 8 in the northeast. Monday struggles to reach the teens. We're watching two potential storm systems next week. The first arrives Tuesday night into Wednesday with a chance of snow. The second, late next week, could bring a wintry mix.
