In the wake of the return of the Bathurst 12 Hour, this week on the V8 Sleuth Podcast powered by Repco we’re looking back at the Nations Cup series. Devised by PROCAR, the series pitted exotic sports cars from around the world in a parity-matched series that was effectively the forerunner of the modern Australian GT Championship. We chat about how it came about, the stars, the cars, some of the quirky tales and aspects of the category, why it came to an end, and what its legacy is.
