Mel Blount is a former Pittsburgh Steeler cornerback, a five-time Pro-Bowler and four-time Super Bowl Champion and a Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee. He is considered one of the best all-time cornerbacks, but his athletic accolades are not his entire legacy. Mel has committed and dedicated the past 34 years to impacting and influencing the lives of youth. Mel has carried the legacy of his parents, and as a deeply committed family-man Mel has been a father-figure to many who did not have a positive influence in their home. His organization is called Mel Blount Youth Leadership Initiative and melblount.org
