I met today’s guest a few months ago at a major national wellbeing event and was struck by her ability to make complex psychology simple in helping people to understand and deal with life’s tricky problems. Dr Meg Arroll is a chartered psychologist, scientist and author with a specialist focus on behavioural psychology related to health and wellness, invisible or misunderstood illness and everyday trauma. She has published widely in peer-reviewed journals and written seven books on topics ranging from chronic fatigue to emotional eating. She works on a 1-to-1 basis with individuals, in corporate settings to improve health and performance and as an advisor to brands and the media. She’s a regular contributor to publications such as the Daily Mail, Psychologies, Women’s Health, Cosmopolitan and many others, where she translates complex scientific theories and research for public dissemination.
