Today's podcast is eye-opening. It's shocking to know that so many people making six-figure salaries are still living paycheck to paycheck. And it's all because of the cost of living in certain cities.
I see this all the time. People are so focused on following their passions and pursuing certain careers without really considering the financial implications. Sure, it's great to do what you love, but if it's not going to provide you with a comfortable lifestyle, is it really worth it?
I know it's not easy to make career and location decisions based on finances, but it's important to have an honest conversation with yourself and your financial advisor. You need to consider the cost of living in the area you want to live and the compensation you can expect from your chosen career.
