In this episode, Alex Sarama discusses the ecological approach that he and his colleagues at the London Lions are applying in their basketball academy. He explains how they have adopted a completely ecologically driven approach based on contemporary skill acquisition research. Alex highlights the importance of embedding these ideas in every team and age group within the academy. He also introduces the concept of a Director of Methodology position, which can help unite different departments within a basketball organization.
