Real life stories about tongue tie - Sarah's journey: Special Encore Episode 319

Today you'll hear about our gratitude sale:  Professional's Guide to Tongue Tie in the Breastfeeding Infant is half price for my birthday this year.  This week's episode features a warrior parent.  The true experts on tongue tie are the parents - especially those who have struggled to find answers for their child's feeding challenges, and wind up learning so much that they can educate the providers who are supposed to be caring for them.  In this episode, Lisa interviews Sarah B. about her journey to feed her fourth child.  Sarah is a mom whose journey was difficult. As you'll hear in this episode, she was told by an MD that her daughter didn't have a tongue tie. Her daughter was having such struggles to feed, by breast and bottle,  that it took a feeding tube to rescue her. But still no one answered Sarah's question of why her daughter couldn't feed, until  at age 7 months when a lactation consultant pointed her in the right direction for functional assessment and release of tongue and lip tie.  It is my wish that by hearing stories such as Sarah's, families will feel heard, know they aren't alone, and be inspired to always search for answers.  Please, like, rate, review and share the podcast to help more families get the right information and support.  Thanks so much!
