DnDeBrief Episode 039 Turn Back the Flood
Summary: The group enters the soul-sucking chamber and fights the 'old man' who seems to be stealing souls from prisoners. Is the old man Betet? What happens to the shortsword they think is evil? How many dogs has Khonnos absorbed? What ARE those dogs? Will they rescue the prisoners? Will Dalencia live? Will any of these questions be answered?
Debrief: The players discuss having 15th level characters and the huge amounts of resources they have available to them. We also touch on fear effects in 5e D&D, and a little about encounter design.
