The event is organized by "Jaee Frazee," who uses "he/they" pronouns and wears face makeup featuring upside-down crosses. Frazee’s profile photo bears the caption, "Worship thyself, you are your own God. Hail you, hail Satan..."  The Grotto describes itself as a community for Satanists and allies following the Left-Hand Path.
