Episode 1,863- What Does Jesus See In These 5 News Stories? (AUDIO & VIDEO)
It's dangerous to try to think like God. We can consult His Word, we can pray, and ask the Holy Spirit to guide us. We can also spend time around friends who are more spiritually mature than we are and we can do what we can to understand how God is working around us to build the kingdom. It's important for us to think about how God might view something, and increasingly so in relation to news events.
What does God’s Word say?
15 Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, 16 making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. 17 Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is. 18 Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit, 19 speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, 20 always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
35 “‘Do not use dishonest standards when measuring length, weight or quantity. 36 Use honest scales and honest weights, an honest ephah[a] and an honest hin.[b] I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt.
7 For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.
3 not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock.
26 Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals,[a] and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”
26 If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it.

Trump and Zelensky met last week and it shows us how a real president should behave. And we need to stop letting the people who run our food supply make you fat, sad, unhappy, depressed and weak. And then there’s Tim Waltz and his ethnic studies, psycho. I don't know that he's truly a psychopath, but I'll let you judge because he seems to have psychopathic tendencies.
