Todd also takes some of your questions on whether or not we should be celebrating this Independence Day in the wake of the horrific budget bill that passed today. In Todd’s opinion, the great American ideals that our country strives for are still worth celebrating. While we are potentially in one of the darkest moments for American liberty since the civil war, we cannot lose hope. The first Independence Day was all about not having a king, and this one is about the same thing.
