Conservation of Wisconsin’s natural resources is always front of mind for Todd. This year’s state budget failed to continue funding for the Knowles-Nelson Stewardship Program, which is one of our state’s most impactful conservation programs. At the bottom of the hour, we welcome two elected officials who are trying to fix this situation. State Sen. Jodi Habush Sinykin and Rep. Tip McGuire are joining other Democrats to propose a solution, but the Republicans have their own ideas. Will this issue bring bipartisan cooperation back to Wisconsin’s legislature?
