Many of you know my guest in this episode, Cynthia Thurlow. She is the host of the Everyday Wellness podcast. She is also an expert in intermittent fasting. She wrote the book Intermittent Fasting Transformation, The 45 Day Program For Women to Lose Stubborn Weight, Improve Hormonal Health and Slow Aging. But in this episode, we're focusing on the perimenopause menopausal state, and how menopause is indeed a disease state. Did you know that the loss of hormones is not just a natural thing that women go through? It's an actual transition into a disease state, which brings forth many other different diseases of aging.
