She starred as Sally Bowles in Cabaret on Broadway, Miss Adelaide in Guys and Dolls at the Bridge Theatre, and Ado Annie in Oklahoma! at the Young Vic. West End credits include Effie White in Dreamgirls, Becky in Waitress, and Motormouth Maybelle in Hairspray. She recently released her live album Live in London, recorded at the Adelphi Theatre.
