Strong winds are creating hazardous conditions across much of Texas today, with multiple Wind Advisory alerts stretching from the coast inland. Gusts reaching 55 miles per hour are expected, particularly in eastern and northeastern portions of the state. This morning starts relatively calm, but conditions will deteriorate quickly after noon.
