- Commissioned by the NFL to do the signature painting for Super Bowl 50 which was unveiled at the NFL Honors Banquet

- Selected as one of the top 30 sports artist for NAMOS' inaugural 'Commitment to Excellence in Art & Sport' exhibit
- Commissioned by the Houston Astros to do a painting commemorating Roger Clemens' for becoming 2nd on All-Time strike out list
- Commissioned by the Houston Rockets to do a painting commemorating the career of Rudy Tomjanovich
- Commissioned by the Houston Rockets to do a painting commemorating the career of Moses Malone
- Commissioned by the Houston Rockets to do a painting commemorating the career of Dikembe Mutombo
- Commissioned by Lamar University to do a painting commemorating the tenure of outgoing president Jimmy Simmons
