A quorum about the Rap Debut Album Tournament (RDAT); A fictional invention from six years ago essentially working backwards from the statement - Illmatic by Nas is the greatest rookie rap album. The discussion is the feedback previously not received and gets stuck on the first rule - The album must be their first time the artist (or artists) truly released an album. If they were part of a group, like the Wu-Tang Clan, then all the solo projects afterward don’t count. So that eliminates Raekwon’s Only Built 4 Cuban Linx and Ghostface Killah’s Ironman and let the debate begin.
