Show Notes

As a former WTA player and inducted into Hall of Fame in 2022, she is often referred to as the "pioneer" of tennis in Quebec. In 2008, Aleks became the first French Canadian to win a WTA singles title, at Stanford's West Bank Classic. She then became the first Canadian tennis player in history to take part in the Olympics, in London in 2012. Her career highest ranking was 21.

In this episode, we discuss her transition from pro player to coach and the impact of fitness on her career. We also look at training and programming for junior players and its impact on their pathway.
