I interviewed Omondi Peter and Kirsty Shakespeare, who are both making a huge impact with their work in youth football and sustainability. Omondi Peter is the Founder and CEO of Global Youth Forum - Kenya an Organisation whose main aim is to eradicate poverty in Kenya through the power of Sports. Peter together with his team has created Football4Peace Tournaments empowering Youth with employability skill, linking them to job opportunities as well as advocating for the Sustainable Development Goals at the grassroots level. He is spreading many ripples throughout Kenya. Kirsty is an International ESD Manager at Trust for Sustainable Living in the UK. Kirsty has over 10 years experience developing and delivering sustainability and environmental education to students and adults in the UK and internationally. Omondi also works in collaboration with Kirsty with Trust for Sustainable Living's student contests. We teamed up to discuss the future of education and how we want to impact the next generation.
