Neva Talladen is the founder of Otherwordy Editing and Publishing which was inspired by the African proverb, “The story of the lion will never be known if the hunter is the one to tell it.” The company's goal is to work with more mission-based projects with multicultural, Black and Brown, and underrepresented authors and business owners. Otherwordy is about shaping stories through insightful story development, editing, and all things print such as journals, stationery, letterpress, zines, all the essential spaces where we may explore our worlds of thoughts and emotions Neva talks about her love for writing and how she was able to take the opportunity to turn her first love into a full-time career that gives her true happiness and purpose.
