Aliya Janjua is a Connector, learner, and seeker of inspiring conversation. She is also the Founder of the podcast series Confessions of Successful Asian Women. Her mission is for Asian women to break gender and cultural stereotypes. She believes that Asian Women are fearless and demonstrate resilience, passion, and determination every day whether it’s in their professional or personal lives. It was pretty difficult for Aliya in the beginning to live life on her own terms since she was raised to live the traditional route. She realized when started to say no to things that don't serve her, that's when she was able to start living life for herself instead of living life for others.
