Valerie Huber, founder and CEO of the Institute for Women's Health (IWH), is renowned for her lifetime dedication to enhancing women's health and wellbeing. During the Trump Administration, she played a crucial role in policy-making related to women's and adolescent health at the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services and also served as U.S. Special Representative for Global Women's Health. Highlight of her career was her instrumental role in the signing of the Geneva Consensus Declaration, a historic international coalition that commits to promoting and expanding women's health globally. Huber has also co-founded and led non-profit organizations emphasizing youth empowerment, promoting healthy life decisions, and fostering respect.
