In this episode, I'll have an inspiring conversation with Jenny Hladun who just a short time ago, became a first time mom. Our conversation covers a wide sweep of important touch points that all center on managing postpartum depression and anxiety, the role that good sleep habits have on the severity of postpartum, and giving yourself a bit more grace as you figure out how to do this mothering thing with those around you, and individually."...We need to support each other as moms and not be comparing ourselves to each other, there's no finish line, there's no first-place prize in this thing of motherhood. It is a community of moms and we have such a large community of women that have gone through this. I think we need to look at each other and say, “You're part of my tribe, you're part of this community"... instead of comparing ourselves to each other, and saying, “Well, am I doing as good as them? Are they doing as good as me?” We should all just look at each other and say, “We're doing the best that we can.
