Larry Thompson has had a remarkable career, having practiced law for more than 50 years. It’s led him to private practice representing clients from all over the world; public service serving as the Deputy Attorney General of the United States; and as general counsel at PepsiCo. We discuss his impressive career and what led to his book, “Quiet Counsel: Looking Back on a Life of Service to the Law.” Larry discusses his experiences in the Justice Department before and after 9/11, his inspiration for the book title “quiet counsel,” and what makes him optimistic for the future.
