There are foundations that are required to build upon. I believe that to be 100% true and use that as a guiding principle of the training programs I develop for people. Some skills have to be at a level before scaling others. period.So, lets look at some of those numbers closer.

I think its very important to make sure that your knowledge and skills are sharp when going into the field. I havent been as involved with mountain and adventure lifestyle the last few years and wanted to catch up with someone who has been active throughout the years since COVID and just chat gear. I am starting a shift to interviewing friends about their careers and shooting. Last episode I had Frank Galli on ( and hopefully he will be a regular) and this week my friend Bill. I love Frank. I think he is one of the easiest people in the shooting world to be around. He is considerate, thoughtful, experienced, and opinionated. You kind of have to have all of those qualities to be interesting and he has them all in spades. The thing is, we can always hang out in person and we always find ourselves tinkering with things instead of recording. So, today I was crunched a little on time and decided to call him and just chat. We ended up talking about calibers, speeds, themes over time, wind, the Assessment course we do together and his courses with Mark, and all sorts of stuff. If you pay attention he always has great insights and I think I need to record more of these since its just so easy to chat about things. Anyway, let me know what you think.

The plan is to load for 2023, but my plan is different than most of the stuff ive seen on the internet. This isnt anything but an explanation of how im going to approach and carry out that plan. Its not super detailed but its the preliminary plan and if nothing crazy happens.. its what im going to run with. We will see how it shakes out!
