One of these friendships is that of Don Davis and Flip Pallot. This week we are blessed to have Don join Alan Altizer in a discussion on the Florida wilds and his close friendship with a man most consider to be a legend in the fly fishing and traditional bowhunting worlds, but Don called him his friend. Don and Alan cover hunting and the wildness of Florida, which provides a better insight into the friendship that grew between Don and Flip. This week Alan Altizer is honored to be joined by Montana’s legendary traditional bowhunters Peter Iacavazzi and Paul Brunner for a tribute to Karen Brunner. Paul’s wife Karen was an exceptional traditional bowhunter. Although her bowhunting career was cut short by physical issues, she stayed part of bowhunting and the outdoors for her entire life. Karen’s accomplishments are shining examples for other women wanting to bowhunt. Peter became close friends with Paul and Karen in his teens and shares stories of their making him part of the family. Paul shares many of his memories of Karen’s bowhunting accomplishments and heart felt thoughts of his best friend, hunting partner, and the love of his life.

On this episode Dalton sits down for an early morning chat with diehard bowhunter Chris Weist. Hailing out of PA, Weist is among the most driven bowhunters in the country, having scouted most days in the current calendar year. Woodsmanship is something you can't buy, and Chris certainly does his part to make sure he is ready for each fall. In this one we talk all things Whitetail, with a special focus on early season scouting. You don't want to miss it!"

This week Master Bowyer and Trophy Whitetail hunter Tom Jenkins joins Alan Altizer in an in-depth discussion of his approach to hunting mature whitetail. Tom graciously shares his wealth of knowledge ranging from setting up for early season, to techniques he uses in the late season. Over the years he has refined his skills as a traditional bowhunter and learned what works and what doesn’t work in the pursuit of trophy class animals. This week Alan Altizer is honored to be joined by Montana’s legendary traditional bowhunter Paul Brunner. Paul gives a master’s class on hunting trophy elk with a traditional bow. Now at 82 years old, Paul is still successfully hunting monster bulls throughout the west. Having taken 68 bulls to date, his 70 years on elk hunting experiences is as good as it gets. This week Alan Altizer is once again honored to be joined by Montana’s legendary traditional bowhunter Rosie Roseland. Now an Alaskan native, Rosie is considered one of the best elk hunters with a traditional bow out there. Rosie graciously shares his wealth of elk hunting knowledge and a variety of techniques that have led to his continuing success for the last five decades. Times and the country have changed, and calling is far less effective. Rosie shares techniques that will help the average guy on public land kill an elk. This one is a must!!!!!
