One of these friendships is that of Don Davis and Flip Pallot. This week we are blessed to have Don join Alan Altizer in a discussion on the Florida wilds and his close friendship with a man most consider to be a legend in the fly fishing and traditional bowhunting worlds, but Don called him his friend. Don and Alan cover hunting and the wildness of Florida, which provides a better insight into the friendship that grew between Don and Flip. A Tribute to Karen Brunner: “Paul’s Better Half”.
This week Alan Altizer is honored to be joined by Montana’s legendary traditional bowhunters Peter Iacavazzi and Paul Brunner for a tribute to Karen Brunner. Paul’s wife Karen was an exceptional traditional bowhunter. Although her bowhunting career was cut short by physical issues, she stayed part of bowhunting and the outdoors for her entire life. Karen’s accomplishments are shining examples for other women wanting to bowhunt. Peter became close friends with Paul and Karen in his teens and shares stories of their making him part of the family. Paul shares many of his memories of Karen’s bowhunting accomplishments and heart felt thoughts of his best friend, hunting partner, and the love of his life.

Chris Weist: Whitetail Strategies
On this episode Dalton sits down for an early morning chat with diehard bowhunter Chris Weist. Hailing out of PA, Weist is among the most driven bowhunters in the country, having scouted most days in the current calendar year.
